Dearest Regine, Going to Adoration—followed by Mass and read from the pulpit. Making salmon salad and would love to ride our bikes as we did yesterday for 16 miles. Our weather is so gorgeous at 84°F! Sending you some sunshine and blue skies... Hugs, Mariette
Something I ate for supper last night (did not agree with me) so taking it easy today and doing some light cleaning! Loving the weather here in upstate SC (Greater Greenville area) Go for the brownies (it is a favorite of mine for sure).
We did our duties at Dixie Cottage this morning...not one customer came in until our son arrived at noon to reprieve us. Then there were four or five in there at once. LOL. We came home and ate lunch and took a nap. We are going out to eat for fish for supper and meeting our son and DIL. It's the first time our local restaurant has been open for supper in several years. It will probably be crowded. But the fish is calling us... Have a blessed evening and weekend.
Had a glorious eye-candy color tour of the north today, a super olive burger and now a fire in the fireplace with just five pages left in my book. Can't beat it!
We shared a Chick fil a cookie with chocolate chips earlier Devouring a new book - not this week enjoying a quiet evening, catching up with old friends like you! Always, I love snail mail and old fashioned letter and card writing. Miss those days because email and social media is too impersonal and filled with hackers and spammers. Sigh...such is life.
A quiet evening, as the family has been out for the day and are not yet back - currently catching up on blog visits and listening to a local Christian radio online. Blessings Maxine
I went out with friends to lunch yesterday. We hadn't met up in months. So it was good catching up. And the Chinese food was great. Happy Weekend! Oh, and I made a lemon dump cake for a friend's birthday!
I had Cold Stone ice cream yesterday. I've feeling guilty about it now. It sure was good.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day and weekend, Regine. ♥

ReplyDeleteIt's night time, so just having a cup of tea with some lemon tarts, reading favorite blogs, and watching Netflix later. Good night, dear friend.
