Some things about me

 I’m reading a book a night when I can’t sleep

It feels good to be feeling better

The holidays are coming up and I’m excited

Dogs make life better

Sweet

Saucy

Sassy

It’s what happens

When you finally

Unburden yourself

From unrealistic expectations

  1. Thank you for visiting ~ I was tempted to visit your previous blog, got going with reading and could not stop!
Prophetic, this, 2016: Watching politics these days makes me feel like reality does not exist. Is this how people work these days. When did the Presidency of this country become something we love to hate. I used to take the Presidency seriously, and now I wonder if I watch is because I can't not watch.
Of course, not applicable to your post today, yet so very applicable TODAY, more than ever. Today, I wish you well as you move forward, with a new life and new expectations for your life (as I have read through some earlier postings here). You are young still (yes ?) ... much wonder and joy lies ahead for you (I am 79), accept it as it comes, day by day.

  6. Sometimes our expectations are so difficult to achieve. I'm glad you realize that. Took me a very long time to figure this out.

Have a fabulous day, Regine. ♥

  16. Reading definitely helps take my mind off things, too, and then fall asleep. I think animals are such a comfort too. I have a cat I love, but I also like dogs.

  17. I too have been known to read very late when I have a good book... God is the ultimate burden bearer, and isn't it good when we leave out burdens with Him!!
    Blessings

  20. I'm glad you're feeling better, dear friend. I've been wanting to get a dog, but my house is so small, and not sure how that will work.

Have a peaceful and sweet weekend.
