Thank you to ten

You affirm me every day. It makes me smile. The fact that you look forward to another ten years makes me cry. I hope that I can continue to inspire and make you smile. Thank you for loving me. Now, the only job I have is to love myself as much or more than others love me.  I love you all.

  1. Well, Happy Blogaversary. I Agree that Blogging is a wonderful Outlet and this is a great Community here in The Land of Blog. I too feel displaced now when I don't Blog and never thought I'd be doing it this long either, my Grandson introduced me to Blogging and set it up for me when he was 9, he's 23 now. He remembered growing up that I used to Write a lot of Letters, but then Letter Writing became a lost Art form that people didn't do anymore and when the reciprocity of it failed, just sending Letters out and getting no response left a void. Blogging is much more interactive and pairing a Passion for Photography made it the perfect vessel. It does Mentally exercise us and connects us to so many Kindred Spirits, there's literally a Blog for everything one might have an interest in. Glad to have found yours after you came for a visit to my little slice of The Land.

  2. I pray you can love yourself as much or more, too. We tend to give grace to others easier than we give it to ourselves. I'm reading a book called Telling Yourself the Truth. (Did I already mention this?) It has helped me a lot, teaching me about the importance of self-talk. We've got to encourage ourselves every day!

  6. That is the hardest thing when we are not perfect by the world's standards - I was damaged as a child and I still struggle at time with loving myself, but with God, all things are possible. You are loved by God and so many others Regine
    Blessings
