Learning to love

I have been reading the Book of Exodus, and reading about the Tabernacle.  It is amazing to me just reading about its intricacy, specificity and dedication.  When it got to sacrificing the rams and other animals, I realize how much I love Jesus, how much I need Him.  As a former member of the Jewish faith, I am appreciating the Old Testament and my descendants for the very first time.  I am learning how special it is to have been a part of God's Chosen people.  I in no way mean to offend.  I am just starting to appreciate the belief of my ancestry.  Time doesn't heal all wounds, it just makes them more bearable.  As long as I can see the next day, I will continue Learning to love.
Have a blessed day!
He will complete a good work in me until the time of our Lord Jesus.

  1. Isn't it comforting to know that He WILL complete that work in us? Makes me love my Lord even more.

  2. I LOVE the Old Testament! (It's the theme of the scripture study course I'm taking this semester.) It's full of so many stories where the Lord shows His love for His children.

  3. I just finished a Bible Study Group where we studied through Beth Moore's "A Woman's Heart" it was all about the sanctuary- very good and insightful. Glad you are enjoying your reading. There are so many treasures in the Bible- just waiting to be discovered!

  6. Yes, He will finish the work He started in us. That is so good to know. Sometimes I try to finish it myself (in my own strength), not good! I am always glad that I can come back to my Lord, who did everything for me and is still working in me. I'm learning to love Him more and more too! Thank you for sharing this!
