Cry

Mentally turning a corner. I have six nephews and a niece who give me joy. I didn’t birth them, but they are mine. Stuck with me. Seeing them last night on FaceTime gave my soul the smile I temporarily shelved. I cry every day.  I knew my mood would be all over the place after surgery, but really I had no clue. So I’m getting better even if I go through tissues more often than the feminine products I finally trashed.

Happies today

  2. Facetime is the best, I remember going for years without seeing family when we were stationed over seas, if we were there now we could at least see them every once in awhile, but I was always thankful when we could call and talk

  7. Hang in there! The older we get we can sink into tears at every turn. I know if I watch animal movies I'm sure to cry. If I watch or even read Nicholas Sparks' work I'm sure to cry. Remember crying is good for your eyes. They say if you don't cry you'll go blind..I heard this in a K-drama by the way..not long ago.

  8. (((hugs))) So glad your sweet family brought some smiles to your face again. Day by day it will get better. And being able to trash those products eventually you will come to appreciate, even thought I understand it was at a great personal sacrifice for you. I am wondering if your Dr. has prescribed any hormone therapy for you in the wake of your surgery? It may prove to be very helpful with your emotional situation...but I know everyone's needs and bodies are different. I'm sure your Dr. will recommend whatever is best for you. I just know how much I needed it after my surgery and it was a lifesaver for me (and for those around me!) Praying for you each day as you continue to recover. God is with you.

  9. I love Tatler magazine. Definitely one for the happies. I'm so glad your soul got a smile. You've had a huge loss, as significant as the death of a loved one. That loss must be honored and you are. And then, as with other grief, you move ahead a bit, and then more. And, as with other griefs, it will always be with you. But it will have its safe place where it doesn't hurt you every day. I promise.

  10. I have no clue what to say to be better, but I wish you to be better. Don't cry. I observed that crying does not help anything. Smile to your nephews and niece and breath.
    Send you love!❤️

  11. I'm an aunt to two nephews and one niece and I count them as one of my blessings in life. And sometimes tears today make the smiles and laughter that come tomorrow even better. Hang in there!

  13. It's hard to find peace when it comes to children. But remember, there are more ways to become someone important to a child than birthing them. And I speak from a touch child bearing time in my life. Be strong!
