Pools of blue
As I float
Through the needle
Of your soul
Eyes wink
Back at me
Twirling tongue
Laughing
As I go under
As I’m flipping
Over the inner tube
Surfacing as taking
In an inordinate
Amount of water
And I can
Just Imagine
The story
That will
Be told
For generations
To come
I really like the form you've chosen. The varied line length adds a really nice flow, both when reading the poem and when looking at it on the page!
