Gratitude for today
A sweet message I didn’t anticipate
Sitting Indian style
Being alive
Growth isn’t linear. Isn’t isn’t something I can measure in real time. It happens in the way I live. Just as I work on keeping my muscles limber, I work on humility and grace. I seek cohesion between the mind and body.
In stillness
May I silence
My thoughts
To hear
Yours
Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteGratidão SEMPRE! beijos,chica
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not linear. We grow, we move ahead, and then we back track and if we're lucky can get ahead. It's a good thing to learn.
ReplyDeleteAnd some days, we find ourselves going in circles as we grow. Blessings, Regine!
ReplyDeleteGratitude is a gift that keeps giving.
ReplyDeleteGratitude is so important! Sending hugs!
ReplyDeleteBuona domenica 😘
ReplyDeleteLove your words!
ReplyDeleteYou’re right. Growth happens in the way we live our lives - and having the desire for change which stimulates our growth.
ReplyDeleteGrowth comes when we least expect it, sometimes in packages that we never anticipated...kind words, words of encouragement, beautiful scenery, God whispers in the moonlight. Staying attentive to God's voice keeps us growing stronger every day.
ReplyDeleteAs Pam said, God's voice is everywhere. I'm still learning to hear it after almost half a century of listening intently.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Sending good wishes this Sunday.
