  1. I'm reading a book called Housemaid that a friend from work passed on. It's suspense and is very good!
    I'm looking forward to gymnastics!
    No vacations right now!
    My kitchen has been quiet the last few days.

  3. I've started writing out the books of Thessalonians in the Bible. That takes a lot of my reading time.
    We just returned from our vacation to Washington State to visit our friends there. It was hard to come back home. No baking here. It's way too hot. Not sure about the Olympics. I usually prefer the winter Olympic sports but we'll see.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  8. I won't be watching the Olympics. There are things I don't care for at all about them now. I just baked a cinnamon crunch cake. OH MY WORD it is so delicious I can't hardly keep from getting more even though I am filled up to my eyes! I am reading about Potiphar's Wife, Zuleika. She was a princess in Minos...sent to be Pharaoh's wife. Didn't happen. She became Potiphar's wife instead. It is in the Bible of course. I am reading the book entitled whAt I mentioned above...by Mesu Andrews.

  10. * I’m preparing for a Fall Bible study on Revelations so I’ve been reading various commentaries -
    * probably won’t watch the Olympics .
    *We are never comfortable leaving for a summer vacation due to our area is so prone to wildfires. Last time we were gone, we had to fly back home early.
    *Not cooking much. Too hot.
    *No baking either - same reason
    Fun questions!

  11. Are you doing the BSF Revelation study? I'm going to be doing that one too. I really learned a lot from the John study last year.

  14. I'm Reading the Girls of Mischief Bay by Susan Mallery (it's a 4 book set and I picked up all 4 books at the library so far I'm only part way through book 1). I am hoping to watch some of the Olympics but I know last time we couldn't find it streaming on any of the channels we subscribe to and while I really enjoy watching the various events and festivities I'm not willing to pay extra for it. I haven't been cooking or baking much of anything this week but I did try a new crock pot recipe today that I hope turns out good!

  17. No book at the time that I'm reading, no baking, No cooking (kitchen is too hot right how) and no vacations planned. I kind of like the simpleness of it all right now. We actually will go down the mountain today to have lunch with my kids from Washington. Just had lunch last week with family from Oregon. That's enough excitement.
